Reflection; I was learning to split the numbers to help me subtract.

I'm proud that I managed to understand the strategy.

It was tricky to do the adding.

Next I  will try to use bigger numbers.

Autumn Cinquain

We were learning how write a cinquain poem.  We wrote poems to describe Autumn Leaves.  I liked the moving words best.  The hardest part is writing the sounds in the words.

My Reflection

We have been learning to compare characters.  We read a book called Who's a Big Bully Then by Michael Morpurgo.  I found this activity hard because it was hard to think of a lot of words.  My next step is to listen to the story better.

Term 1 Week 8

This week I worked hard on Mathletics.  I have been competing with other people on Level 1 and I did good.  My highest score was 50 something.  I haven't had a bronze certificate yet but I am trying hard to get one.  I will go on more and do some more tasks because you get more points.

Term 1 Week 7

This week I went to Youthtown Sports and I played 3 step dodge ball.   I was really good at aiming and throwing the ball.  I got lots of people out.  I only had to sit down once so I must be pretty good at side stepping from the ball.  Next time I will try and get more people out.

This week I been working on Mathletics.  I have only got 212 points so far but I want to get a bronze so I need to work harder to do this. I find it hard to have enough time to go on Mathletics.

African Praise Poem

I was learning to write something about myself.  It was a teensy bit easier when the teacher helped me.  My favourite part is the part our WWE, the hulk and pigs.
